“By 18th July 05, completely gone - what a miracle”

In early May 05 we acquired a small galloway who had "mud fever" on his hind socks and it looked pretty bad, his hind legs were swollen and there was hardly any of the white that wasn't affected and he had a nasty crusty crack on the back his pastern. We had never had a horse with this complaint before and set about treating it with potions and lotions, new and old remedies and nothing was working, by this time nearly a month had gone by and it was not getting any better.

I was looking through the Horse Deals and saw Robyn's advert, I read on with great enthusiasm as I thought I have finally found a cure, I emailed Robyn telling her about the problem and then rang her personally. We received the treatment a few days after the phone call and started treatment immediately - early June 05.

Because he had a very bad crack on the back of his fetlock that had to be cleared up first, so he had the oral treatment 3 times a day for 1 week, within that time there was a great improvement in the crack.The second part of the treatment - was oral treatment once a day until "mud fever" was 70% better. On the 22nd June 05 I emailed Robyn to say that his legs were to 70% better stage. The next treatment was once a week.

By 18th July 05, completely gone - what a miracle.

I had told some other horse people about what I was going to try - most seemed a bit on the doubtful side and "Poo Whood" the idea, but they are amazed also at the result.
